Aims of the Clinic

1.

Free medical treatment for the diabetics of the poor population. If possible, a fee is charged for blood pressure and glucose level tests, as well as for medications of heart or other additional treatments.

All patients who can afford it will be charged their treatment costs at full cost. This is to ensure the treatment of the poor patients in the long run.

Build a new, bigger and more central ambulance with purpose-built rooms: examination rooms, room for heart rate tests and blood glucose level tests, laboratory for extensive blood testing, and in the future: echocardiography, Doppler, etc. and a room for pharmaceuticals.

3.

Scientific and statistical collection and evaluation of patient data according to age, social class, type of illness, sequelae and treatment.

4.

Extension of diabetes clinics, first into other cities, and then into the provinces.

5.

To build up and extend early diagnosis and early treatment.

6.

Preventative medicine, nutritional consulting, hygiene.
